Veiled Chameleon
Veiled Chameleons are hardy pets suitable for a first-time Chameleon keeper. Their helmets, called “casques”, give them a striking appearance. Like other Chameleons, their colors can change shade to adapt to their environment.

Needs a basking spot of 90-100°F, and an ambient temperature of 70-80°F
Personality
Can be gently handled, but like other chameleons they are best suited to being watched for their fun colors and antics.
Diet
Eats mainly crickets.
Environment
House alone in a screen cage, with non-toxic plants and branches for climbing.
Socializing
Adults are about 2 feet in length (male) and 18 inches (female). Can live 6-8 years (male) and 4-6 years (female).
